American Numismatic Association (ANA)
Founded in 1891, the ANA is the largest numismatic organization in the US with about 28,000 members. The purpose of the organization is to advance and promote the study of coins, paper money, tokens, medals and related numismatic items as a means of recording world history, art, economic development and social changes, and to promote greater popular interest in the field of numismatics.

American Numismatic Society (ANS)
First organized in 1858, the mission of The American Numismatic Society is to be the preeminent national institution advancing the study and appreciation of coins, medals and related objects of all cultures as historical and artistic documents, by maintaining the foremost numismatic collection and library, by supporting scholarly research and publications, and by sponsoring educational and interpretive programs for diverse audiences.

Early American Coppers (EAC)
Founded in 1967, EAC serves as a point of contact for collectors of early U.S. copper coins - Colonials, Half Cents, Large Cents, and Hard Time Tokens. Today EAC comprises over 1,600 members located throughout the United States. EAC members are deeply interested in the historical background, attribution, grading, rarity, and related aspects of the early coppers, as well as collecting and trading.

Numismatic Bibliomania Society (NBS)
A non-profit educational organization founded in 1980 to support and promote the use and collecting of numismatic literature.
