While overshadowed by the key 1896-O, 1901-S and 1904-S, in Mint State 1904-O remains a notable rarity within the Barber Half Dollar series. Relatively few full Gem coins survive, including four MS66s reported by PCGS, topped by two MS67s. This example is a solid, original MS66+, and likely the second or third finest known of the issue.
